Santiago Trugeda is a Toronto-based cinematographer and photographer whose work blends the intimacy of human connection with the precision of crafted visuals. Born in Viña del Mar, Chile, and raised in Canada from the age of 11, he draws on both cultures to shape the way he sees and captures the world. Santiago’s style has been described as a combination of stylized naturalism and magical realism grounded in reality yet shaped by a personal taste refined through a lifetime of collected experiences and formative moments in Chile.
